Labor Appreciation Breakfast (2026)
A big thank you to everyone that attended our Annual Labor Appreciation Breakfast earlier this month. An especially big thank you to our featured speakers, State Senator John Laird, Assembly Member Gregg Hart, County Supervisors Jimmy Paulding & Dawn Ortiz Legg and Central Coast Labor Council Executive Director Jeremy Goldberg. The speakers and attendees shared many success stories from the previous year while strategizing on the best way to jointly tackle shared challenges going forward.
Unions that participated include the Central Coast Construction Trades, Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local 403, IBEW Local 639, Central Coast Labor Council, SEIU Local 620, Teamsters Local 996, Cuesta College Federation of Teachers California Faculty Association – Cal Poly, CAEA 89, SLO County Employees Association, Cement Masons Local 600, California State University Employees Union - Cal Poly, Professional Engineers in CA Government, Atascadero Teachers Association & California School Employees Association – SLO Coastal.
