
Annual Central Coast Outstanding Apprentice Awards & Reception 2025
The Central Coast Construction Trades was proud once again to recognize outstanding apprentices from San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. This year also saw the addition of two new awards: the "Spark Plug" award, honoring the efforts of allied organizations in promoting apprenticeships in the trades, and "Construction Trades Champion," honoring those who fight to ensure pursuing the trades remains a path to prosperity. The evening featured inspiring speeches by State Senator John Laird, Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, and others.
