Apprenticeship Week Forum & Job Fair 2026
The 2026 Santa Barbara County Apprenticeship Forum and Job Fair was held at the IBEW Local #413 Hall in Buellton. Students from across Santa Barbara County were able to learn about careers in the trades, get hands-on with a high tech welding simulator, wire-stripping, sheet metal, and the latest Milwaukee tools, as well as observe demonstrations, and engage directly with apprentices in the trades in a panel discussion featuring State Treasurer Fiona Ma, Santa Barbara County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Susan Salcido, and Buellton Vice Mayor Carla Mead.
